Spirit Week was last week. This is the week that the students get themselves fired up before they go to the MLC Basketball Tournaments. Each day the students dress up in the theme for the day to get in the spirit. A Pep Rally was held at the Fairfax site on Feb 14.

School Board Recognition Week

The Minnesota School Boards Association has set February 17-21 as School Board Recognition Week in Minnesota as a time to build awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected board of education plays in our society. Cedar Mountain is joining all public school districts across the state to celebrate School Board Recognition Week to honor local board members for their commitment to Cedar Mountain and its children.

Cedar Mountain Activities Update

By the time this article gets published, we will have completed seventeen of the 23 scheduled home varsity events and all fourteen of the junior high events of the winter season.  If you add to that the many events from the fall season, you get quite a lot of activity at our Franklin and Morgan campuses.  

GFW School Board approves SOD Plan

In a special school board meeting held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Primary School in Gibbon, the GFW School Board approved the proposed Statutory Operating Debt (SOD) plan that is intended to get the district back on the road to financial health.
