Day of Caring at Cedar Mountain Schools

Last week on October 29, nearly 100 students from Cedar Mountain Middle School in grades 6, 7, and 8 racked the leaves of several homeowner front yards in Morgan. This was the first year of the “Day of Caring” initiative started at the school. “We are looking at doing things that create a sense of belonging. Our community is always so supportive of our school, and this is a wonderful way that we can give back to our community. We are very grateful for the opportunity to say ‘thanks,’” said Tammy Yackley, Cedar Mountain middle/high school principal. (Staff photos by Paul Zaid)
