JUDY ANNETTE KOTTKE
February 28, 1947-June 6, 2025
Judy Annette Kottke passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2025. She was born on February 28, 1947, to Robert and Delores Stark in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She graduated from Buffalo Lake High School and went on to nursing school in Minneapolis. Later, she went back to college for her B.S.N. in Nursing and then her graduate degree in Hospital Administration, both from the University of St. Thomas.
She was known for her compassion and ability to put others at ease, from the youngest infant to the most seasoned senior citizen. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse. After she moved in to administration, she was at the forefront of implementing the “rooming in” concept for new moms and families, and later she managed nursing homes and provided hospice care.
She will be deeply missed and her memory will forever be cherished by the many family and friends who loved her. She is survived by her son, Kory Kottke; and daughter, Stacey Figgins; son-in-law, David; and two grandsons. She is also survived by her brother, Kevin Stark and her sister Patricia Clark as well as their spouses and children.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the scholarship fund of the Minnesota Nurses Association Foundation in her name.
Snow's Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park has charge of arrangements.
