We strive to provide unforgettable experiences for our students at GFW Public Schools. Thanks to some great work from local community members, a passionate teacher, and a willing relative with an awesome job, some third-grade students had the opportunity last week to connect with someone who works for NASA!

At Cedar Mountain, we pride ourselves on providing students the opportunities to be well rounded individuals. Many great things happen daily in our classrooms but it is often the activities outside of the classroom that build life skills and positive relationships. Over the past month our students, coaches and advisors have made us proud with their efforts and successes. Here are a few of the many opportunities that our students have taken part in.

Just one year ago, we worked with a community-based committee to set a strategic plan for our district for the next five years. We outlined five focus areas each with several goals to work towards, and I am excited to be able to report that we are making great progress on all areas of our plan.

The Cedar Mountain School Board held their regular monthly meeting April 11, 2022.
The Board began by approving the consent agenda which included $7,500 from CPAC for the purchase of new playground equipment, $50 from Tim and Sarah Sullivan to FFA, and $100 from Redwood Area Cattlemen to FFA.
