Audrey Kiecker

February 2, 1936-September 2, 2021

Audrey Ann Kiecker was born February 2, 1936 to Harold and Gertrude Palmer in New Ulm, Minnesota. She grew up on the family farm in Fairfax, Minnesota, and graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel in 1954. She was united in marriage to Stanley Kiecker on January 17, 1959. Their union was blessed with three children, Jeffrey, Gregory, and Ann. In 1964, the family moved to North Idaho, built a home in Hauser and raised their family. On September 2, 2021, Audrey died peacefully surrounded by her family and in the care of Hospice of North Idaho. She was 85 years old.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at 744 N. 4th Street. Graveside service will follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens at Noon, with a reception following at the home of Ann Clapper in Spirit Lake.

Audrey grew beautiful flowers, enjoyed quilting, playing Penny Lane slot machines at the casino, and spending time with her family.

Audrey is lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey (and Patty) Kiecker of Hauser, Idaho, Gregory Kiecker of Spokane Valley, Washington, and Ann Clapper of Spirit Lake, Idaho; grandchildren, Jeneva Stubbs, Sam Clapper, Cheyenne Kiecker, Breann Kiecker, Brad Hull, Rebecca Linck, and Brian Hull; 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; a brother, John (and Elaine) Palmer of Fairfax, Minnesota; sisters, Grace Steffel of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, Marge (and Dick) Schmidt of Fairfax, Minnesota, Millie (and Ed) Volk of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; brother-in-law, Bradley (and Cheryl) Kiecker of Fairfax, Minnesota; and sister-in-law, Judy Goulet; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley in 2006; parents, Harold and Gertrude Palmer; and a brother, James Palmer.

Blessed and eternal be the memory of Audrey Ann Kiecker.
