Connie Kay Domeier was born on October 20, 1948, in Storm Lake, IA. She was the daughter of Harold and Doretta (Pratt) Tevepaugh. Connie was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith. She received her education in Lake City, IA, and was a graduate of the Lake City High School Class of 1967. She furthered her education at the Minnesota School of Business.

On April 25, 1970, Connie was united in marriage to Ted Domeier. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Together they owned the Fairfax Agency and worked beside each other for more than 43 years. They also cherished many years of family time at their cabin on Lake Koronis. Connie would most likely be found on the deck indulging in a good book soaking up the sun. They also took delight in being “snow birds” and enjoyed some of the winter months in Arizona. Connie and Ted shared 43 years of marriage before Ted passed away in 2014.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax and was the treasurer for the Catholic Aide.

Connie treasured her ten grandchildren and was a big supporter of their sporting events. She could often be found cheering them on from the playing fields and gyms. She was always proud of her grandchildren’s beauty and a good shopping trip meant new outfits to glorify their beauty. She’d love the smiles and excitement on their faces as they’d model each item, she so graciously gave them. She always showed them much love and filled their hearts with sweet memories.

She will always be remembered for her caring heart and warm embrace. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met and she will be missed dearly.

Connie leaves to cherish her sweet memories daughters, Kelly (Lynn) Domeier Grosklags of Marshall, MN, Alissa (Craig) Buboltz of Fairfax, MN; and her “angel” son, Christian Domeier; grandchildren, “angel” Riley Domeier, Preston, Rheed, Erinn, Masen Grosklags, Payton, Trinity, Keyden, Kobe, and Bryce Buboltz; sister, Renee (Merle) Wright; brother, Lynn (Kari) Tevepaugh; sister-in-law, Betty (Tom) Sadler, Jeanne Brindley, Ruth Faunce, Rita Domeier; brothers-in-law, John (Pat) Domeier, Dennis (Bonnie) Watters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
