Free healthy meals available Friday, November 13 in Fairfax

The Lutheran Social Services (LSS) received a COVID-19 relief grant from the Minnesota Department of Education and will be providing a free community meal this Friday, November 13.

The homestyle meals are produced at local LSS kitchens and are individually portioned with a balance of proteins, carbohydrates and spices to taste great. They will be sealed and given out in reusable bags.

Anyone in need of nutrition can receive up to five meals plus snacks. This event is on a first come, first serve basis. You can also pick-up meals for others in your household at no cost.

Pick-up will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Fairfax’s Memorial Park near the ball field.
