JoDell “Jodi” Lund, age 71, of Fairfax, MN passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at CentraCare – Redwood Hospital in Redwood Falls, MN.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 11, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax with interment in Fort Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely Township, Nicollet County, MN, at a later date. Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax and will continue one hour prior to the service, all at the church.

JoDell “Jodi” Renee Lund was born on March 7, 1952, in New Ulm, MN. She was the daughter of Beach and Roseanna (Breitbarth) LaFramboise. Jodi was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. She received her education in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1970.

On June 7, 1970, Jodi was united in marriage to Dennis Lund at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax. Jodi and Dennis lived in Fairfax since the time Dennis was discharged from active duty. They were blessed with two sons, Troy and Shawn. Jodi and Dennis owned and operated the 4 & 19 Café where she was a cook and waitress. She was also employed at ADC Telecommunications in Fairfax and later at AUI and BIC in Sleepy Eye. Jodi and Dennis celebrated 51 years of marriage when Dennis passed away on March 20, 2022.

Jodi was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax and the Ladies Auxiliary.

Jodi enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, bird watching, photography, and going out to lunch with friends. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Jodi is survived by her sons, Troy Lund of Fairfax, MN, Shawn Lund of Hutchinson, MN and Steven (Nicole) Weston of Rosemount, MN; grandchildren, Christopher Lund and his fiancé, Timothy Milonas, Andrew Lund, Preston Lund, Steven Weston, Jr., Benjamin Weston, Veronica Weston, and Miranda Weston; sisters, Rose Marie (Eddie) Garrahy of Fairfax, MN, Lucinda LaFramboise of Fairfax, MN; brother, Dennis (Zetta) Becker of Franklin, MN; sister-in-law, Sandra Lund of Sleepy Eye, MN; brothers-in-law, Earnie “Moon” Ahrens of Fairfax, MN, and Kyle Lund of Fairfax, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beach and Rose LaFramboise; husband, Dennis Lund; sister, Loni Ahrens; brother, Roger (Shirley) Becker.
