Linda K. Arduser, age 71, of New Ulm, MN died Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

The visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm. The visitation will continue 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm.

Linda Kay Newton was born on August 22, 1949 in New Ulm to George Wayne and Pearl (Kreaman) Newton. She graduated from New Ulm Public High School in 1967, and then from Mount Mary College in Yankton, SD in 1971.

Linda was united in marriage to Terry Arduser in August 1971 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. They would later divorce. Linda and Terry lived in North and South Carolina for four years where she taught at local elementary schools during his military service. In 1975 they moved to Morgan where Linda would raise her daughters and taught for 31 years at St. Michael’s Elementary School.

In 2006, Linda moved to New Ulm where she devoted the rest of her life and career working at the Holy Trinity parish office as a youth director. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, close friends, attending family gatherings, sporting events, and dance shows. Linda was a devoted mother, daughter, friend, and committed to her faith. Blessed be her memory.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Julie (Benjiman) Lehman of Madelia and Erin (Christopher) Jensen of New Ulm; sister, Nancy (David) Hulke of Eau Claire, WI; five grandchildren, Ayden Jensen, Emily Lehman, Jacob Lehman, Madelyn Lehman, and Peyton Jensen; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
