PUBLIC HEARING

An Application for Extraction Interim Use Permit has been filed by Travis Brey of Brey Tiling & Excavation, LLC, o/b/o landowner Anthony Kramer, pursuant to Redwood County Code of Ordinances, Title XV, Sections 153.143 and 153.421 for the extraction of sand and gravel material from/on a three-acre extraction site located on portions of the following described real property in Granite Rock Township:

The NW1/4NE1/4 and the NE¼NW¼ of Section 9, Township 111, Range 38, Redwood County, Minnesota, excepting therefrom that part of the NW¼ and NE¼ of Section 9, Township 111, Range 38, Redwood County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 9; thence North 89°16'32" East, bearing based on Redwood County Coordinate System NAD83(11) on the North line of said NW¼ of Section 9, a distance of 2248.37 feet; thence South 00°59'18" West, a distance of 895.40 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 85°58'23" West, a distance of 303.10 feet; thence South 00°43'27" East, a distance of 392.54 feet; thence North 89°16'31" East, a distance of 156.00 feet; thence South 00°43'31" East, a distance of 35.00 feet; thence North 89°16'32" East, a distance of 557.00 feet; thence South 00°43'27" East, a distance of 25.00 feet; thence North 89°16'31" East, a distance of 454.00 feet; thence North 00°43'29" West, a distance of 470.00 feet; thence South 89°16'32" West, a distance of 864.40 feet to the point of beginning. A public hearing thereon will be held before the Redwood County Planning Commission at the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting starting at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 25th day of August, 2026. The meeting will be held in the Board Room of the Redwood County Government Center, 403 South Mill Street, Redwood Falls, MN 56283.
