Phyllis E. Senske, age 90, of Glencoe, MN, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2024, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe.

Funeral Service was held Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe, with interment following at the Glencoe City Cemetery in Glencoe.

Phyllis Elaine Senske was born June 17, 1933, in Gibbon, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Ewald and Alpha (Schultz) Redmann. Phyllis was baptized as an infant on July 9, 1933, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on October 13, 1946, by Pastor A.F. Zenk, both at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop, MN. Phyllis attended School District #76 through the eighth grade.

Phyllis was united in marriage to Marvin P. Senske on August 30, 1951, at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop. The couple made their home in Glencoe. This union was blessed with three daughters, Pauline, Pamela, and Shari. Phyllis and Marvin shared over 53 years together when Marvin passed away on January 24, 2006.

Phyllis was employed as a Custodian for 34 years, cleaning businesses and homes in the Glencoe area. Phyllis was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church for 65 years and served on the Altar Guild, the Ladies’ Guild, and enjoyed being a part of the church’s Bible Study.

Phyllis enjoyed tending to her flower beds, she was known for her beautiful rose garden, traveling with her family, and caring for her cats. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

When Phyllis needed assistance with her daily care, she moved to GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Pauline Larsen and her husband, James, of Morgan, MN, Pamela Hacker of Morgan, MN, Shari O’Donnell and her husband, Brian, of Glencoe, MN; grandchildren, Jamie (Amy) Larsen of Milroy, MN, Chad (Virginia) Larsen of Redwood Falls, MN, Jennifer (Ross) Meyer of Morgan, MN, Michelle Larsen of Morgan, MN, Melissa Lemke of Glencoe, MN, Matthew (Holly) Hacker of Morgan, MN, Laura Hacker of Morgan, MN, Joshua Hacker of Morgan, MN, Justin (Brandi) Hacker of Morgan, MN, Kyle O’Donnell of Hamilton, MT, Kayla (Matthew) Muenchow of Glencoe, MN; great-grandchildren, Devin (fiancé, Kailey Anderson) Larsen, Brady (fiancé, Hailey Paul) Larsen, Janessa (Brandon) Eckstein, Blake Arnold, Skylar Meyer, Kailee Larsen, Jacob Schuetz, Tyson Lemke, Logan (Amanda) Miller, Neveah Hacker, Trenton Hacker, Dalton Hacker, Hailey Hacker, Dawson Hacker, April (fiancé, Ethan Kleinschmidt) Hacker, Mila Muenchow, Graham Muenchow; great-great-grandchildren, Yara Eckstein, Isla Eckstein, Baby Larsen due in August, Zoe Hacker, Delilah Hacker, Colter Hacker, Everette Kleinschmidt; sisters-in-law, Bernice Weishert of Glencoe, MN, and Delores Remus of Gibbon, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Senske; parents, Ewald and Alpha Redmann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Augusta Senske; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Larsen and Alecia Larsen; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
