County Ditch 26 as an Outlet

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Board of Commissioners of Redwood County, sitting as the drainage authority for County Ditch No. 26, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 103E.401, shall hold a public hearing on the petition of Kodet Farms to outlet into County Ditch 26. The petition describes approximately 140 acres within the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 111 North, Range 36 West, which will drain into County Ditch 26. This acreage includes approximately 33 acres that are already located in the County Ditch 26 watershed and approximately 107 acres that currently drain southeast into County Ditch 25. The purpose of the outlet is to provide improved farm drainage for the Southeast Quarter. For further information, the petition to outlet into County Ditch 26 is available for review at the Redwood County Environmental Office.

The petition is available for review under the “Drainage Proceedings” tab on the Environmental Department page on the Redwood County website. https://redwoodcounty-mn.us/departments/environmental-office/

The hearing shall be held at 9:00 a.m. on September 1, 2026, at the Board Room of the Redwood County Government Center located at 403 South Mill Street, Redwood Falls, MN 56283. All interested parties may appear and be heard.
