Thomas “Tom” Klement, age 72, of Gibbon, MN passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Winthrop, MN.

Funeral service will be 11:00 Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Augustana Lutheran in Gibbon with Pastor Erik Karlson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 Wednesday, January 19 at Augustan Lutheran in Gibbon and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday.

The funeral service will be live-streamed on the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home’s Facebook page starting at 11 am on Thursday.

Thomas Lee Klement was born June 1, 1949 in Gaylord. He graduated from Gibbon High School in 1968. After high school Tom worked for Fingerhut in Gaylord, Skyline in New Ulm, Hands Inc. in Winthrop and Young America in Winthrop and Glencoe. He was an active member at Augustana Lutheran and served on the church council. He was also a member of the Gibbon Funfest committee. Tom was an avid bowler, he enjoyed gardening and running the score board at the Gibbon baseball games. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thomas is survived by his sister, Katherine (Richard) Schnobrich of New Ulm; brother, Allan Klement of Gibbon; five nieces, one nephew and great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gloria (Papke) Klement.
