William ‘Billy’ Beilke

William ‘Billy’ Beilke, age 94, of Morgan, MN, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home.

A public service was held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morgan. Burial followed at Zion Eden Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.

William was born to William and Olga (Wellnitz) Beilke on February 19, 1928. He attended District 74 school and was confirmed at Eden Emmanuel Lutheran Church. In December 1950, he joined the Air Force and spent two and a half years in Japan. After four years of service, he started farming on his uncle’s farm. He was a farmer his whole life. He loved deer hunting, fishing, feeding birds, flowers and gardening. William was a member of the Morgan VFW and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Morgan.

William is survived by special niece, Marcella Beilke and other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roland Beilke; sisters, Francis Beilke, Myrtle Zempel, Evelyn Beilke, Lorraine Ziegenhagen and Lilas Schroeder.
