Edwin “Eddie” Hacker, age 64, of Fairfax, MN passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at his home in rural Fairfax.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 13, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.

Edwin “Eddie” Charles Hacker was born on March 29, 1959, in Sleepy Eye, MN. He was the son of Roman and Anna (Balazaitis) Hacker. Eddie was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. He received his education at St. Andrew’s Catholic School in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1977. Eddie resided on the farm and he farmed his whole life. He was also employed at Jackpot Junction for many years.

Eddie was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. He loved being on the farm, spending time outdoors, and driving around the countryside. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Eddie is survived by his brother, Thomas Hacker of Willmar, MN; and many Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Anna Hacker.
