Jack Kiecker, age 63, of rural Hector, MN passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Redwood Falls, MN.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Wellington Township, Renville County, MN, with interment in the church cemetery. Memorials preferred to Emanuel Lutheran Church.

Jack Allen Kiecker was born on May 15, 1961, in Sleepy Eye, MN. He was the son of Marlin and Elaine (Karnik) Kiecker. Jack was baptized as an infant on June 4, 1961, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 27, 1975. He received his education at Emanuel Lutheran School in Wellington Township through the eighth grade and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1979. He loved the time he spent growing up with his great aunts and uncles on their farm. While in high school he was President of the FFA.

On August 14, 1982, Jack married Patricia “Patty” Kloeckl at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gaylord. Following their marriage, the couple farmed alongside Jack's father, Marlin, on the family farm in rural Hector, where they raised crops and farrow-to-finish hogs until Marlin retired. Jack continued to manage the family farm after Marlin's retirement, with his son Ryan joining the operation in 2009, and neighbors Charles and Mark Clobes joining in 2012. Together, they farmed until Jack's passing.

Throughout his career, Jack was a "Jack" of all trades. After high school, he worked at the Fairfax Elevator, served as a bartender at the Fairfax Legion, worked as an electrician for Albrecht Electric, was a lineman for the City of Fairfax, drove a garbage truck for Clobes Sanitation, and was most recently an electrician for Hoffman Electric. Jack and Patty were blessed with three children and shared 42 years of marriage.

Jack was a dedicated and lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Wellington Township. He served on the church council and as treasurer for 25 years, and he remained active on the township board for many years up to the present. Jack was deeply involved in his community.

Jack's faith and love of God were central to his life and served as a guiding force in everything he did. Jack's actions were a testament to his devotion; he lived his life with integrity, compassion, and kindness, always striving to embody the principles of his faith. His love of God was evident in the way he treated others, always willing to lend a hand and help others in need. Jack's friendly demeanor made him a joy to be around, and his outgoing, animated personality left a lasting impression on many. He was rarely idle, constantly engaged in activities. Jack cherished his time in the shop, where he enjoyed working on equipment and displaying his antiques. He relished having beers with neighbors and looked forward to his favorite event of the year, sausage-making weekend. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family. He loved playing cards and board games, camping, discovering new breweries, and going on trips with the love of his life, Patty.

Jack passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 2, 2024, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 63 years. Blessed be his memory.

Jack is survived by his wife, Patty Kiecker of Hector, MN; children, Rachel Rosa and her husband, Carlos of North Mankato, MN, Stacy Nelson and her husband, John of Sioux Falls, SD, and Ryan Kiecker and his wife, Emily of Hector, MN; grandchildren, Elena Rosa, Emma Nelson, Elliott Nelson; sisters, Julie Huiras and husband, Todd of Fairfax, MN, and Janel Schweiss and her husband, Tim of Fairfax, MN; mother-in-law, Mary Kloeckl of Gaylord, MN; in-laws, Paul (Gina) Kloeckl, Bob (Cindy) Kloeckl, Jeannie (Alvin) LeRoux, Barb Frauendienst, Kathy (Mark) Clobes, Jim (Lisa) Kloeckl, Ann (Scott) Breuer; aunt, Lila Anderson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Elaine Kiecker; father-in-law, Roger Kloeckl; and brother-in-law, Larry Frauendienst.
