Michael “Mike” R. Wagner, age 63, of Fairfax, MN passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at his home in Fairfax.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1 - 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post #275, 307 Oak St., Seaforth, MN. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth, Minnesota.
Michael “Mike” Ronald Wagner was born on July 14, 1962, in Cannon Falls, MN. He was the son of Ronald and Eleanor (Johnson) Wagner. Mike was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at St. Pius V Catholic Church in Cannon Falls. He received his education in Wabasso and was a graduate of the Wabasso High School Class of 1981. Mike furthered his education at the Canby Vo-Tech and graduated on July 16, 1983.
On June 26, 1999, Mike was united in marriage to Colleen Alderman at Lake Shetek in Slayton, MN. For the last 26½ years, they resided in Fairfax. Mike and Colleen were blessed with four children, Carrie, Andy, Tyler, Joshua, and special son-in-law, Jeremy. They shared 26 years of marriage.
Mike was self-employed as a truck driver. He leased his truck to Moren Trucking and drove for NW Dairy, Bob Erickson and Donny Watkins Trucking.
Mike enjoyed trucking, camping, fishing, and target shooting. He loved the lake and boating. Mike cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife, Colleen Wagner of Fairfax, MN; children, Carrie Schulte of Wabasso, MN, Andy Alderman and his wife, Cathy of De Smet, SD, Tyler Boyda and his wife, Danielle of Franklin, MN, Joshua Boyda and his wife, Kelci of Hutchinson, MN, and son-in-law, Jeremy Schulte of Wabasso, MN; grandchildren, Jayden, Shayla, Alexis, Logan, Callan, Maci, Kolton, Sorin; siblings, Mark Wagner and his wife, Teresa of Seaforth, MN, and Val Morrissette and her husband, Matt of Shiloh, NC; mother, Eleanor Wagner-Eichten of Redwood Falls, MN; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wagner; grandparents; and nephew, Jordan Alderman.
