PUBLIC HEARING

An Application for Conditional Use Permit has been filed by Lane Albrecht of Albrecht Wind Energy LLC, on behalf of landowner Jason Kainz pursuant to Redwood County Code of Ordinances, Title XV, Sections 153.446, 153.142, and 153.353. Mr. Albrecht is proposing to construct a non-commercial wind energy conversion system, consisting of one 25kW wind turbine, on the following described real property in Springdale Township:

All that part of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 20, Township 109N, Range 39W in Redwood County, Minnesota described as follows:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of said SE¼; thence North 00°00'00" East, assumed bearing, along the East line of said SE¼ a distance of 505.68 feet to the point of beginning, said point also being on the North right-of-way line of the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad; thence continuing North 00°00'00" East along said East line a distance of 734 feet; thence North 90°00'00" West a distance of 349.91 feet; thence South 00°00'00" East a distance of 726.16 feet to a point on said North right-of-way line; thence South 88°42'59" East along said North right-of-way line a distance of 350 feet to the point of beginning. A public hearing thereon will be held before the Redwood County Planning Commission at the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting starting at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 25th day of August, 2026. The meeting will be held in the Board Room of the Redwood County Government Center, 403 South Mill Street, Redwood Falls, MN 56283.
