Beverly J. Schroeder, age 89, of Gibbon, MN passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Orchard Hills Assisted Living Community in New Ulm, MN.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 at St. Peter’s Lutheran in Moltke Township with Pastor Karl Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.

Beverly June Haus was born to Charles and Gladys (Reynar) Haus on August 23, 1933 in Brandon Township, Fairfax, MN. She attended grade school and high school in Fairfax and graduated on May 31, 1951.

Beverly was united in marriage to Ralph Schroeder on May 29, 1955 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Moltke Township. Their union blessed them with four children. Together they farmed in Moltke Township until 2002 when they retired and moved to Gibbon. She was an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, shaking dice, bingo, gardening, canning, and making baked goods, jams, jellies, and pies to sell at her garage sales. Quilting was another hobby with all her friends at Generation for Warmth in Gibbon. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

June is survived by her sons, Harold (Lynn) Schroeder, Dale (Kimberly) Schroeder all of Gibbon; daughters, Darlene (Lowell) Briese of Gibbon, Marlene (Alan) Youngblom of Lafayette; grandchildren, Julie (Roger Kotten) Schroeder of Litchfield, Scott (Ann) Schroeder of New Prague, Kristi Briese and Joey Briese of Gibbon, Nicholas (Julia) Schroeder of Sioux Falls, SD, Trevor Schroeder and Katelyn Schroeder both of Gibbon; great-grandchildren, Hanna Schroeder and Collin Rose of Litchfield and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Schroeder; brothers, Paul, Duane, Chuck and her sister, Mellie and their spouses.
