On July 2, 2026, at the age of 94, heaven welcomed Ardis L (nee Friton) Larsen. Ardis was born in Sleepy Eye, MN to Palmyre and Edmund Friton. She grew up on a farm with her brother Paul (Joy) Friton, and sister Avis (Vernon) Buckmeier.

Marilyn Erna Spaude, age 95, of Fairfax, MN and formerly of Gibbon, MN passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026.

A private family service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with Pastor Steven Bauer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Marilyn was born August 29, 1930, in Minneapolis, MN to Clarence and Erna (Howe) Meder. She spent her childhood in Osseo, MN moving to Gibbon her junior year of high school.
