Shirley Ann Becker, age 79, of Fairfax, MN passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at her home.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.

Shirley Ann Becker was born on September 10, 1940, in Cairo Township, Renville County, MN. She was the daughter of Elmer and Viola (Grams) Schroeder. Shirley was baptized as an infant on September 14, 1940 and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 11, 1954, both at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. She received her education at St. John Lutheran Elementary School and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1958.

On June 23, 1961, Shirley was united in marriage to Roger Becker at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. After their marriage, the couple resided in Fairfax. This marriage was blessed with four children. She was a loving homemaker and mother. She was employed by ADC and Dr. Brown in Fairfax. Shirley and Roger shared 59 years of marriage.

Shirley was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax and the Ladies Aid.

She enjoyed her pets, Nikki and Maddie; crocheting, sewing, making T-shirt pillows, doilies and bells, gardening, and taking care of the farm animals. She was the best grandma; she loved her grandchildren more than anything. She cherished the time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Roger Becker; children, Tammy Becker-Drill and (Tony), Brent Becker and his wife, Sue, Denise Kohls and her husband, Kelly, and Amy Zitzmann and her husband, Randy; grandchildren, Tiffany (Luke) Geib, Stephanie (Alex) Noble, Sean Kohls and his special friend, Tessa, Tarynn Kohls, Makenna Kohls, Brady (Megan) Zitzmann, Ayrika Zitzmann and her special friend, Derek, Brandon (Danielle) Havemeier, Heather (Dale) Schwab, Michael and Gabriel Savage; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Rhett Geib, Cameron and Avery Noble, Dominic and Ameilyah Peart, Isaac and Ethan Havemeier, soon to be, Chase Zitzmann and baby girl Noble; siblings, Donna (Dick) Jansen; sisters-in-law, Rosemarie (Eddie) Garrahy, Loni (Earnie) Ahrens, Jodi (Dennis) Lund, and Cindy Laframboise; brother-in-law, Dennis and Zetta Becker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Viola Schroeder, LaVerna Schroeder; son-in-law, Michael Drill; mother-in-law, Rose Laframboise and father-in-law, Clarence Becker.
