The Cedar Mountain Cougars traveled to Windom on Friday, December 27 for a holiday tournament game against the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers.
The Cougars hit the floor and gave it their all, but the Panthers pulled ahead early and never looked back.
By the halftime break, the Cougars were facing a 38-55 deficit, and they weren’t able to recover. The game ended with a final score of 76-91.
The GFW girls’ varsity basketball team participated in the Tri-City United Holiday Tournament on Friday, December 27.
The T-Birds went head-to-head with the Waterville-Elysian- Morristown Buccaneers in the first round of the tournament.
The T-Birds kept pace with the Bucs early on, but headed into the halftime break facing a 14-17 deficit.
