The Cedar Mountain Cougar varsity volleyball team traveled to Lamberton on Monday, September 13 to take on the Falcons of Red Rock Central in a non-conference matchup.
The Cougars, coming off a victory over GFW and the Montevideo Invitational over the weekend, had a bit of a rough night. The Falcons took the match in three sets with scores of 20-25, 20-25 and 16-25.

The GFW varsity volleyball team hosted the Chargers of Minnesota Valley Lutheran in a Tomahawk Conference battle on Thursday, September 16.
The T-Birds did their best and left it all on the court, but in the end, the Chargers came away with the three-set victory with scores of 23-25, 24-26 and 21-25.

The GFW Varsity Football team hosted the Cleveland Clippers on Friday, September 17.
The T-Birds received the ball to start the game, and wasted no time putting points on the board. Nick TenEyck returning the opening kick and proceeded to run it back for a 77-yard T-Bird Touchdown!
The two-point conversion failed, and GFW took a 6-0 lead within the first 15 seconds of play.

The Cedar Mountain Cougars hosted the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen on Friday evening in Morgan.
The Cougars received the ball to start the game, but their first drive ended quickly with a fumble recovered by Edgerton.
Despite the best efforts of the Cougar defense, the Dutchmen managed to march down the field to score within the first two minutes of the game. Their two-point conversion failed, however, and their lead was limited to 0-6.

The Cedar Mountain Varsity volleyball team hosted the Thunderbirds of GFW on Thursday, September 9 in a Tomahawk Conference battle.
The match began with an intense set that had the fans on both sides on the edge of their seats. The teams battled back and forth, with several ties and lead changes until, in the end, the Cougars managed to pull away enough to get the 27-25 set victory.
