The MVL Girls Golf Team won the Tomahawk Conference Championship for the first time ever on May 10 at the Sleepy Eye Golf Club. Pictured are (from left) Gabbie Bleick, Olivia Merseth, Nadine Clobes, Lili Mohror, Abbie Riederer, Gracen Lukasek, and Coach Craig Morgan. MVL Senior Nadine Clobes, of Fairfax, finished second for the day with a score of 91. She also finished second overall in the conference after finishing second, first and second respectively in the three conference meets.

The GFW girls’ varsity softball team traveled to New Ulm on Thursday, May 6 to take on the Cathedral Greyhounds in a Tomahawk Conference double-header.
In the first game, the Hounds scored first in the second inning, while the T-Birds had several runners get to third and get stranded on the third out.

The GFW boys’ varsity baseball team hosted the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds in a double-header at Memorial Park on Thursday, May 6.
The Hounds didn’t waste any time setting the tone for the first game. They put eight runs on the board before the T-Bird defense could send them into the field.
GFW added a run in the second inning when Nick TenEyck crossed the plate.

The GFW girls track team competed at Sibley East on Friday, April 30. The GFW girls finished with 19 points.
Olivia Schwarzrock got personal records in both the discus and shot put, winning both events. She threw 112’ 5” in the discus and 35’ 6” in the shot put.
