The Cedar Mountain Lady Cougars headed to Hector on Tuesday, November 17 to take on the Mustangs of BLHS on their home court.
The Cougars put everything they had on the court, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. The Mustangs took the match in three sets, with scores of 16-25, 18-25 and 12-25.

The Cedar Mountain varsity volleyball team traveled to Wabasso on Monday, November 9 to take on the Rabbits on their home court.
The Cougars worked hard but despite their efforts they weren’t able to get their rhythm. The Rabbits took the match in three sets with scores of 20-25, 13-25 and 19-25.

The Cedar Mountain Lady Cougars battled through five sets of volleyball on Friday, November 13 in Morgan.
Both teams played well and forced the other to be at their best through the entire match. In the end, however, the Cougars came away with the hard-fought win with set scores of 17-25, 25-8, 25-14, 23-24 and 15-11.

The 3-Person Baker League held their championship tournament at Concordia Lanes in New Ulm on Saturday, November 14. GFW had three bowling teams in the varsity pool and two bowling teams in the junior varsity pool. Each team bowled eight games and top four teams advanced based on total pin count.

The GFW Thunderbird varsity football team traveled to Lake Crystal on Friday evening to take on the Knights of Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial.
The Knights were the first to put points on the board with a 26-yard touchdown about four minutes into the first quarter, but the T-Birds wasted no time responding.
