The Prairie Lutheran Patriots volleyball team participated in and won the round-robin tournament in Redwood Falls on Saturday, September 10. The girls won 10 out of 11 games played, earning them the first place spot. The GFW Lady T-Birds hosted the Mustangs of Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart in a Tomahawk Conference Volleyball matchup on Thursday, September 8 in Winthrop.
The Mustangs took the first set with a final score of 18-25. The T-Birds came barreling back in the second set, battling to the final point, but coming away with the win with a score of 26-24.

The GFW T-Bird volleyball teams traveled to St. Clair on Tuesday night, September 6 to face the Cyclones in their second contest of the season.
The T-Birds, having lost to Sibley East in their season opener, were looking for their first win of the season. They managed just that. They took the match in three sets, with scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-15.

The Cedar Mountain Lady Cougars are off to a great start this season. In fact, so far, in their regular season play, they haven’t dropped a single set.
The girls earned their third win of the season on Thursday night as they played host to the Falcons of Red Rock Central and sent them home with a solid loss.

The Cedar Mountain varsity volleyball team participated in a tournament in Montevideo on Saturday, September 10. The girls faced several teams that they will go up against later in their season, so this was a good sneak peak and an opportunity to learn what they need to do differently to earn a win in those matches.

The Cedar Mountain Cougars traveled to Edgerton on Friday, September 9 to go head-to-head with the Flying Dutchmen in their third contest of the new season.
Edgerton had the ball to start the game but they weren’t able to do much, and were forced to punt it away.
